What Is the Child-Pugh Score?

The Child–Pugh score (Child-Turcotte-Pugh or CTP score) is used to evaluate the severity of cirrhosis and assess the need for liver transplantation. It considers the following clinical parameters:

The resulting score helps classify patients into three risk classes (A, B, or C) based on disease severity.
